David is a member of the Western Debating Society, and Vice-President of Philanthropy for the pre-Ivey students' association. For Remembrance Day, David was the University Students' Council’s Remembrance Week Commissioner. He worked with UWO Alumni veterans, the local Canadian military regiment and UWO students to raise awarness about the sacrifices made by Canadians.
He is the web coordinator for the Loran Scholars' Association, where he is developing an online profile database where Loran Alumni and current scholars can contact each other, see what each other is doing, and where they are doing it. He serves on Huron University College Students' Council as Peer Mentor to 20 first-year Huron students where he meets with each student one-on-one on a bi-weekly basis and consult them on academics, summer employment, career planning, etc.
David worked a business analyst for Redknee Inc in Mississauga this past summer. “It was a great learning experience professionally and personally. I now know how difficult it is, and how much dedication is required to succeed as a global business in an ever-changing industry,” says David of his summer experience.
