How to apply

1. Download the full application instructions and a sample application form. 

2. Review the eligibility and selection criteria.

3. Review the important dates.

4. Seek the sponsorship of your school. If you are not sponsored, you may apply to the direct pool.

5. Fill out your application online. The deadline for applications to be received this year was 26 October 2011.

6. Download the PDF of your application, review it, and revise as necessary using the online application system. Do not make changes directly to the PDF.

7. Mail your full application package (outlined on pages 2-3 of the PDF) to the closest area committee (if sponsored) or the direct pool committee (if direct pool).

Application Checklist

• Did you proofread your application?
• Did you complete all the sections of the application?
• Did you sign the application?
• Are you submitting an original of all documents and two copies of all documents (total of three copies of the entire application)
• Have you enclosed an official school transcript and two additional copies of the transcript?
• Have you enclosed an additional copy of page 5 of your application?
